Thank you very much for your interest in our website. The protection of your privacy is very important to us, and for this reason, we would like to give you detailed information about the way we manage your data. We can assure you that all your personal data will be treated confidentially.

We will manage your data entirely on the basis of statutory provisions, i.e. the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the 2003 Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG). The use of www.icecom.at (hereinafter: “website” for short) and all its pages is generally possible without providing any personal data. The owner and operator of the website is ice com HandelsgesmbH (hereinafter: “ice com” for short). You will find all contact information and further details in the Legal Notice section.

We process your personal data exclusively in compliance with the applicable legal provisions, in particular but not exclusively with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of 27 April 2016 and the Data Protection Revision Act of 2018 and the Data Protection Deregulation Act of 2018.

We process the personal data that you make available to us as a user of the website and/or as a prospective customer, customer, supplier, employee or applicant, etc., when you provide such information, for example in the context of an enquiry or registration or for contract negotiations or for the conclusion of a contract or in the context of an employment relationship. Accordingly, we assume no liability for the disclosure of information due to errors not caused by us.

In the event of a personal data breach, we will – to the extent we are legally required to do so – inform the competent supervisory authority without undue delay with reference to the respective data categories affected by the breach. Use of the website by minors

Please note that all online tools on our website that process personal data may only be used by persons over the age of 14. Use of the online tools and the resulting processing of users’ data below this age limit is prohibited without the consent of parents/guardians. Should such data processing nevertheless occur, we will cease processing such data as soon as we become aware of it.

Handling and use of personal data

Personal data made available or collected in the course of an enquiry, registration, contract negotiations or for the conclusion of a contract or within the scope of an employment relationship, will not be processed for purposes other than those covered by the respective predefined purpose and will be processed in accordance with the applicable data protection legal provisions in all cases. Personal data processed for these purposes will not be kept longer than is necessary to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations and to defend against any liability claims and/or for as long as we have a legitimate and overriding interest in such processing.

“Personal data” refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, i.e. a person who can be identified, in particular by reference to an identifier: Examples include your name, e-mail address and telephone number.

Without the provision of this data, ice com cannot conclude the contract with a prospective customer.

In the event a contract is concluded, all data related to the contract will be stored at least until expiry of the applicable retention period for purposes of tax laws.

Sharing your data with third parties

In order to fulfil your order, it may be necessary to share your data with third parties. However, your data will only be shared on the basis of applicable legal provisions (in particular GDPR) for the fulfilment of your order or on the basis of your prior consent.

Some of the recipients of your personal data referred to above are outside your country or process your personal data in such a foreign location.
